The Summer months are when Bath comes alive, and there’s ample opportunity to savour the sights and good vibes of these limestone streets. With market stalls, musical events and more, there’s no better way to make use of the good weather than a trip to Bath this summer!

Bath on the beach transforms Royal Victoria Park into an island paradise. This summer cool off and unwind at the city’s largest outdoor beer garden. Bath on the Beach is due to return from June 13th to August 11th 2024, so you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the beach right on our doorstep all summer long.

The best bit is that its free, so you can come and go as you please from our Toghill guesthouse. The times are also great because they will be open every day, 10.00am to 10:30pm, meaning more time for drinks in the sun! Held at Bath’s American Museum & Gardens, these monthly sessions for pre-school aged children and their parents get kids learning all about animals big and small. If you’re staying with us at Toghill Farmhouse, and you’re travelling with children, we strongly recommend this for a great day out.

There’s lots for your little one to enjoy including singing, rhyming, storytelling and making, while learning all about the ‘Brilliant Beasties’. It’s a brilliant day which is all about exploring creativity and confidence around other kids the same age. The world-renowned artist and internet sensation Mr Doodle will have his first UK museum exhibition in the city of Bath this summer from 3^rd May to 1^st September. There will also be multiple special events such as Art on the Streets, a doodle exhibit on street furniture in Kingsmead square, Union St, and Milsom Quarter.

There will be a selection of Mr Doodle’s personal sketchbooks that provide the focal point for the exhibition. The gallery will be full of the artists designs the gallery and spread across the interior of the Holburne Museum, and the streets of Bath.
